故事簡介

陳果「九七三部曲」第一擊，儘管資源有限，卻是神采飛揚，拍出了本土色彩強烈的代表作。屋邨邊緣青年中秋來自破碎家庭，被困在不見出路的城市角落，認識身患絕症的阿屏、智障的阿龍，又夢會跳樓自殺的阿珊。中秋平日替黑幫收數，為救阿屏，冒險接下殺手工作，卻被眼前醜陋腐敗的成人世界奪去所有，只留下滿腔悲憤與絕望。太陽照常升起，但美景是墳場，面對歷史時刻，只有說不出的未來，影片中的慘烈青春，亦是對於城市前景的尖銳諷喻。

Synopsis

Shot on a shoestring budget with leftover film stock, Fruit Chan's audacious drama blew audiences away in 1997 and ushered in a new age in Hong Kong independent cinema. The first film in Chan's "97 Trilogy", Made in Hong Kong is a gritty exploration into the more unglamorous side of the metropolis. Chan presents an entire generation of lost youths abandoned by adults, struggling to find a future in a time of uncertainty. Winner of Best Picture at the 17th Hong Kong Film Awards.
