故事簡介

反映八十年代初香港社會焦慮的話題作。偷渡來港的內地少女思晨無依無靠，匿居山邊木屋區，以出賣肉體維生。邂逅業餘拳手遠生，但為改善生計，也為取得身份證，下嫁鰥夫貴叔，為其傳宗接代，但仍與遠生幽會偷情。遠生期望勝出拳賽可赴美國，與思晨私奔遠方，卻被人暗中陷害。思晨不幸流產，更被貴叔揭發通姦，三角關係頃刻引爆。蔡繼光以通俗劇手法，大膽渲染情慾，緊扣寫實情節，刻劃貧富懸殊下小人物的生存境況，譜寫社會低下層悲歌。

Synopsis

From the legendary Shaw Brothers Studio, Hong Kong, Hong Kong explores the struggles of illegal immigrants in Hong Kong. Cherie Chung stars as a woman caught between two possible futures: A marriage to an older man who can secure her a life in Hong Kong, and a handsome boxer that she has fallen in love with. As the title suggests, Clifford Choi’s provocative award-winning drama is a tale about vastly different sides of Hong Kong and the people caught between them.
